Students were tasked with developing an original composition. Teaching focus was primarily on Adobe Photoshop paired with classroom Wacom tablets, though students were also allowed to utilize Procreate with their personal iPad. They began from rough sketches and value studies, from which one composition was selected and brought to a finished state. The use of the students’ own photographs as reference was encouraged.
